First Update

The Jump Drive, the jump drive has now been changed back to how it used to work in SM, you can only jump from one galaxy to any neighbouring galaxy.

Beta Test Progress

I know you all want to know what is happening in the Beta Testing, and I am the person to ask, not the admin team, they have enough to worry about programming it. So I will try to keep you up to date with what is going on in testing so you know what to expect in the future.

Actually Wonks, I think that might have been my fault, I kinda incorrectly simplified the formula when giving it to Spock I think.

I gave holds/15 +2 and left the INT to be after this point, makes a slight difference on a couple of the ships.

28 XP per sector for a 400 hold ship.

The formula (in case you really want to know it) is:

XP (per sector) = (INT(Holds/30)+1)*2

Sadly I have to report that you cannot just edit the game.ini file to increase the dimensions of the galaxies, yes this will indeed corrupt the database, sorry. Which leaves the complicated solution (couldn't disappoint you Wonks) which would involve creating a new game universe with the correct siz...

To clarify then, the reason you "got stuck" in the one sector is because you kept trying a new exit, and as Immy says when you try a new exit you use turns and then it becomes you new green exit sector, the problem was you then chose another one thinking there was a problem with the first ...
