Universe Design Competition (Fall 2009)

We have decided to give the map creators a say in ALL aspects of their creation. We are requesting details at the time of your submission to avoid any problems if the creator is unreachable when the map is created.

This thread will remain open until October 31st. Please keep in mind the current discussion/vote on alliance caps as well as the faults of the current map.

Please include a visual representation of your universe as well as the information below.

The following details must be included for your entry to be considered.

Round Name:
Description (if you wish):
Number of Total Galaxies (min of 12):
Number of Neutral (min of 2):
Number of Planet (min of 2):
Max Hours Before Forces Expire in each galaxy (decimals allowed, default 120 hours (5days)):

For each galaxy provide the dimensions. With the new code we are no longer bound by the "square" universe. The default settings is 15x15. Please try to keep the galaxy size within reason, galaxy size should not exceed 225 sectors ( x * y = total sectors). And take into consideration the size of the player base when designing your universe

For Racial Galaxies:
Connection % -- The percentages of sector directions, 100% == complete 4way directions of all sectors
Warps to other galaxies -- Connections between galaxies, ie: Alskant -- human, wq, creo, thev, neutral1
Locations -- # of banks, # of Uno's, # of Bars **Locations such as HQ, fed becons, racial weapon/ship shops are automatically included**

For Each Neutral or Planet Galaxy:

Name:
Type (Neutral, Planet):

Please submit your entries to this thread, or create your own thread for discussion purposes. We will create a poll of the entries and you the players will choose the map for the next round.

I like this Map. Just add another Salzik with its own 4 planet gals, 2 unos and a Ca gal.

It really doesn't need to be designed because it speaks for itself.

Just turn this maps Omar into a copy of this maps Salzik, and remove the neutral fed. That's it.

I wanted lots of places to hide and lots of places to build, good variety. when only a few, they know where u are cause its the only place you could be
