I'm guessing that tracking ip logs takes time and an unbiased approach. I think that a person in this position should be self removed from the general in game player politics and have a reduced playing role such as trading all game, helping newbies, etc.

I know alot of people like to focus on their own teams, but having at least 4 full somewhat active alliances throughout the duration keeps things interesting and somewhat fun.
