Re: Admin Table - September 12
Can't read the first link. Must be admin only discussion. I really hope the only discussion for the change is the quick suggestion by N.ator that was not really discussed at all. JJ the point I am making is I don't think any race is too crazy powerful. I don't agree with the skant changes. They sho...

Re: Admin Table - September 12
Alskant was overpowered before you guys went it. Especially since this admin table was done before the game went live, we had no idea you were going alskant. The fact you went it after we mentioned alskant being overpowered is merely coincidental.

I guess we will leave that to a vote like a few other factors mentioned in the thread.

Re: Admin Table - September 12
TJ if we could base combat directly off of experience it probably would be, the problem is there would be an infinite number of outcomes based upon the experience vs a finite number of potential outcomes based upon levels thus making the code easy to use. TJ you are basing your passion on a style of...

Re: Admin Table - September 12
If we do by level then it only makes sense that you are seen by the same level as you are at par with them. Otherwise the experience based cloak as current code uses would be the way to go. I understand you harbor great feelings about this but we don't need cloak being an overpowered entity to the ...

Re: Admin Table - September 12
Could you spark a discussion with other admins and deep dive into the cloak issue a bit more? I think this is something that doesn't need to be just quickly decided and then move on. Having cloak be level based made people pay attention to levels more than just raw experience. It gave them a tangib...

Re: Admin Table - September 12
Page's combat code will be used? Not old style combat code? Well the cushion with cloak is where the strategy comes into play. Trading to a certain point so you can logoff in game is a luxary not many have. You know if you trade to just 111k you got a small 9k gap before next level so you are proba...

Re: Admin Table - September 12
I would be for killing experience going back to the original style where exp loss was larger and exp gain was larger as well. It made killing matter, compared to how it is now. As for the cloak, the current style makes more sense just from a rational standing. Keeping the cloak experience based vs l...
