I dont like the idea of making a new race with the technology of a better scanner..i dont know maybe its just me but i wouldnt want to pick the race cause of a better scanner...though i guess it would be useful in OPs tthe idea of being able to scan 2 sectors over like poca showed is a good idea tho...
