Re: upgrading ship/player
Id like to see more specialization possible as well. This seems like a good way to do that. Id like to see some sort of skill tree perhaps, so you can adapt yourself to whatever role you like or be a jack of all trades.

Re: New Map Discussion for Next Game
People always complain that nobody gets Ikky or skant peace, Seems to me paring them up with a more popular race might just accomplish that.

Re: XP loss
I dunno, other then a couple folks, nobody has raced up the xp ladder this round. Yhea PVP deaths dont hurt quite like they used too but its not really a massive shift, nobody would die once before and never cloak on people again, they do what greed did, hop back in a trader for a few days and then ...

Re: Exp loss to ports/planets
I always thought the extra penalty for deaths to ports/planets/mines was kinda messed up, it means you can be high xp or helpful to an alliance. Kinda sucks to not be able to maintain your xp at all when busting 70s. Mines are tricky, dying to mines in combat/running shouldn't be any extra penalty a...

Re: XP loss
That was the idea nobody wants to wreck the game for anybody! But trading did need to be harder, it was a joke, and honestly still is. Every single bit of trading can be done with formulas, as the NPCs are proving without a doubt. Honestly the changes did absolutely nothing to make trading any harde...

Re: Why is trashtalk not encouraged?
Because you said "1. If the messages he was receiving were as bad as you say they were they should have been reported. " And I pointed out that while messages may be really messed up, a lot of folks just ignore or blacklist rather then report messages, simply because nobody wants to see an...

Re: XP loss
JJ your track record of opposing changes is well established :). IF everybody thinks at the END of this round the losses are too low, we can adjust them. IF people just think that war-bird losses are too low, could we not adapt the code that decides if an italic player is a legit kill or not(armed o...

Re: Why is trashtalk not encouraged?
1. There is a blacklist for a reason. Need i say more? 2. Stating things that you cannot know is a little rude. Due to an administration 'oversight' the map was not available to be reviewed before the game went live. 3. As for the rest... I have nothing further to say... 1. Yes there is, and that w...

Re: Why is trashtalk not encouraged?
1. If the messages he was receiving were as bad as you say they were they should have been reported. 2. Not sure what this is all about? 3. Admins have authorization to look over the maps and should be able to, that is part of being an admin. As those stats from part 1 were not erased. 4. That thre...
