Yeah, I feel this is better suited for the in-game RaF - there's not exactly a great amount of nuisance to discuss, just lots of people voting yes for it :P

Evil ships currently have their chance to be searched reduced by 3pp chance of being searched, which makes it impossible to be searched when trading at a port that has slaves/weapons/narcs.

I mean there is nothing saying they *can't* have CDs, it's just it feels out of place, and as long as they were balanced to not have CDs then not having them wouldn't be an issue (not to mention that Nijarin have the best/easiest racial weapon setup, so that also pushes them towards being a weapons ...

Well I meant the fed ship stats were buffed, same as the DC (and other evil ships) stats. The feds gained the buff vs mines as an additional on top, which evil ships didn't gain an equivalent of.

Crit hits are somewhat baked into the game already based on accuracy. You can get massive hits if all your weapons hit. It does have 50cds which helps but I personally think that niji being the anti drone race it makes 0 sense putting CDs on any niji ship! I think it should get a bump to a total defense of 550, lose the cds and get 2 more guns. The niji mid racial should just trade the CDs for extra armor or somethi...

The change I'd like to see is making it easier/quicker to lay mines so it doesn't feel like such a tedious process (button that says lay all mines on seeds in sector, maybe?). Another longer-term option is to double mine damage and reduce max stacks to 25, but that would probably unbalance some shi...
