So if the ITAC was just a little stronger than the other hunters, it's nemesis should be the Vindicator. ...

For the record, I believe the ITAC is not overpowered. It all depends on whose flying it. You are saying it is reasonable to have a hunter that outguns all others (including the supposed premier hunter, the DC), that can go toe to toe with most warbirds, that is one of the best planet stockers in t...

DWill, you are completely ignoring the basic problem with singling, which is that the person laying the mines is costing enemies 3 turns per sector at minimal cost to himself (the cost of 1 mine, and no turn cost if he is just dropping as he moves). Something for nothing is unbalanced - every benefi...

Alliances can have all the treaties they want, just not hard-coded. Hard-coded treaties were an unsuccessful experiment, and I see no reason to bring back something that did not work.

It is partly a nij problem (all their combat ships need /2 defense added to them), partly a drone scrambler problem (it needs to be more effective), and partly an ITAC problem (the ship is a joke).

I think the cash total cash spent on maintenance during (for example) the last week needs to be viewable within an alliance so people can see which team members are blowing through their cash. We may even want to make it viewable for all players.
