Re: Draft game Retrospective: My thoughts
The planet incident was handled with care on my part, I did all the necessary to make sure the bug is gone. It is Edgecrushers fault that he had me on ignore and never got informed about bug being fixed. It is admins fault for not announcing anything when they new the bug existed. 30 hours passed f...

Re: Draft game Retrospective: My thoughts
Well would you look at that. Apparently some admin didn't like the contents of my first post. Well let's try again. I agree with some of the Silverx2's assessment in that there were too many players acting in their own self-interest rather than that of the alliance's. I also think FE were going to b...

Re: Do you remember when?
It's more the issue that newbies never get to take part in the alliance phase of the game. The vast amount of fun most of us get out of the game is when we're playing in alliance. Newbies never get to be part of that and newbie alliances (whilst good) don't really get them up to that level.

A Podlife Christmas
Pickles stared gloomily into his empty glass, a little well of misery in the bustling bar. The year was ending as it had begun, badly. Thinking back he realised that he’d been pushing his luck for a while, and that last run of weapons had been just one dice roll too many. He’d been lucky, it was...

It's not always a bad idea to destroy scout drones. If you've wandered over their scout a few times and the hunter still hasn't shown up on the current player list then by all means destroy the scout. Giving them up to date information on your position is a bad thing, for all you know the hunter the...

Use warps (The little fireworks looking thing on local/galaxy maps) or use a jump drive. Warps cost 5 turns to move through, and watch out for mines, our glorious newbie pack hunters seem to think it's fun dropping singles around the warps. Of course using warps tends to rely on you knowing which wa...

I only just found out about the length of trade routes affecting profits after reading this thread!! So, that helps to explain it. Anyhow, I'm currently making 100,000+ more profit (also giving me around 220 XP each time) than when I trade drugs or luxury items, in my IST :) NEVER give out informat...
