If you want to give the defenders an escape route, we might be able to use 1-way warps. That way, attackers only have one way in and defenders can still get out. As for making the map, it can be done easily in one night as long as complete devotion of time is spend on it by the map maker and yourself. This map style would work as a draft round as you'd have enough players to overcome the early game terrible routes.
