My main concern is speed being to high and people not conserving any turns or trading with any strategy. If it's not a valid concern then by all means make it high but I think starting at like 3.0 to 4.0 speed would be a good start. You don't want it to be to fast because then some wouldn't even bot...

If you make a premium membership package you'll need to make it affordable by all. I would say no more than $10/round. For the package you get a list of minor benefits. Like a higher turn cap, small speed boost etc.

I don't think I would like this kind of setup. I like being able to defend my galaxy all day with no turns and vice versa. If you make it so players ALWAYS have to attack one planet galaxy you've essentially pinholed the game into a king of the hill mode. This wouldn't work because the planet galaxy...
