What about a 10x10 racial? It may be smaller, but it also makes for more interaction. Bad idea. Omega tried that and we had to restart the game. Much smaller than this would be too small, IMO. It's 50 turns to arm up your warbird at this point and that seems about right. 5-8 planets in planet galaxies. 1-2 more planet galaxies than this time.
