Game Sounds

is it possible to add game sounds within the game.

for example, if you get attacked its a sound, and or if you become under federal protection, and land on a planet etc.

(of course there would be a way to turn these sounds off, but i was wondering if coding wize it was possible?)

if it was i could find some examples of sounds you could possibly implement.
