I wish we had a Flame Forum still.

Title is a quote from HK.

We did as one time have a flaming forum. Then one day we didn't anymore! I think that we should once again have us a flaming forum with a changes.

Make the flaming forum so you can only see it if you join that forum. So for the new members and others who just don't want anything to do with this flaming forum, they should don't join it and they can't see it.

So Bob could set it up so that if you wanted to join this flaming forum. You would have to click "Usergroups" then under "Join a group". You would see "Flaming Forum" you would then have to click to join it and then you can see it, post in it.

So want do you think?

I especially like the voluntary aspect of this. You don't have to read it if you don't want to, which was a problem with the old one and why (I think) it was removed.

So, Anonymous users of the forum (most new players) wouldn't at all be able to see it... while registered users of the forum would have to volunteer to see it?? I like it!

Although, I think another part of the problem was that people let their emotions get the best of them and didn't give themselves anytime to cool off... things get said that are just stupid and thus the stupidness gets carried over into the game...

However, with that said i'm sure if it was back not nearly as many of my posts would be deleted as they are now...

Even registered users wouldn't see it.

You would actually have to join the forum group (like you do with Beta test and others) to see that part of the board.

I like, but any spilling over flame wars into other forums should be dealt with extremely harshly.

Allow me to throw my hat into the ring... I like it and I like the volunatary option..But we could even go a step further and make it a bit exclusive.. Meaning the admin team could decide if certain players weren't mature enough to handle it ? Or allow everyone in on it but players who got out of hand took a timeout ? LoL..

Might sound like a lot of work but I think I'd have fun modding it. (please don't quote me on that when it gets out of hand in 8 months)
