The main planet page could use an overhaul. A nice background of a sunset, an icy landscape, rocky surface, metropolitan backdrop, whatever. Something to look at besides black.

Also, a freetext note area where messages can be saved for others to see. Primarily could be used for building instructions.

make several different pictures for different planets

If making several pictures then maybe only have them come up when the planet type has been decided?

Cityscape picture for the lander? Countryside picture for a resource planet? Industrial picture for research planet? not sure what you could have for the drone or shield relay ones though.

I been lookin for an excuse to re-install Bryce...

I`m also thinking the alliance planets page needs an overhaul.

Once a planet "type" has been designated come up with shots like below to be on the Main Page

futuristic cityscape for lander
country side for resource
industrial park for resource
maybe a radio telescope shot for shield planets
robotics related shot for drones
space station shot for orbital defense
Jonny Quest mega laser type pic for the death ray
ICBM pic for the massive guided missile
