Chaos Spreads; Federation Pressed



While more and more wars are turning into icy cease fires, the problem of port raids and random assaults, including the assassination attempt on the Creonti President, continue to grow. It is becoming increasingly evident that the Federation forces are poorly equipped to police such a menace, and several are stepping forward to fill the void in power. While small mercenary alliances, such as the I.R.S. and Trex Mercenaries, are expected to thrive in their trade, even efforts of vigilante justice seem insufficient. It is the opinion of this paper that soon Federal power will collapse altogether, leaving powerful financial military conglomerates to take its place and rule the galaxy much as gangs rule the streets.


Murder in the Space Lanes



Signs of pirates roaming throughout the universe culminated today in an act of shocking violence as crector, stout member of the Federation, was gunned down by a miscreant known only as canff. canff, previously known as a petty thief and all around thug, reduced the tiny trader to wreckage earlier today, looting his derelict vessel as crector flew back to Federation space in his miniscule escape pod. Authorities are in pursuit of canff, yet hopes of capturing the criminal dim as time passes. His last known whereabouts was a local bar near the scene of the crime, where several grizzled members of The Forsaken were seen buying the Shadow leader drinks.



Creotni President Assasainated



The Creonti President Arthur Gage was assassinated today by Sinon, a member of the Tootsie Pops alliance and former Yellow Moon and Horseman veteran. Exploiting a technicality in Federation law, the Lemon flavored lolly pop blasted the goodly President’s 6/6 vessel in protected space. Whether the attack was for personal reasons or political in nature is uncertain. Speculation indicates the possibility that this was an attack on the Creonti race or possibly someone just fed up with President Gage's ideas on universal peace. The killer Sinon was held for questioning but later released due to a t. Arthur Gage was not available for questions at this time due to being hurtled through space in his Escape Pod.


The Forsaken: Sheep in wolves’ clothing?



You’ve heard the rumours, listened to wily old veterans relate horrifying stories of The Forsaken hordes, even bought the BoH collector’s doll with glowing eyes and tutu, but what do we really know about The Forsaken? How will they approach this new age in which opposition forces have the temerity to actually fight back? When the time comes for battle will The Forsaken bare their teeth to reveal fangs, or simply dentures? Will expectation exceed reality?
