Local Bombing Disrupts Galactic Post HQ

The Galactic Post would like to apologize for our recent drop in publication, and any inconvience this might have caused. Three days ago, a local Creonti terrorist known as Anita 'Quickie' Focker from the multi-racial activist group known as B.O.G.U.S. (Band Of Guardians Upon Space) bombed the Galactic Post HQ in an obvious attempt to limit free speech and disrupt our delivering the news to you first (behind SNN, that darned Space News Network). Claims that the attack was aimed at our editor for cheating with Quickie's spouse are as yet unfounded and based in speculation. Authorities have captured this terrorist, and the situation is now under control. Again, the Post would like to apologize for out brief absence and hope you will continue to enjoy our quality product.



Smugglers Nabbed!

In a shocking raid today, Federation forces stuck countless ports across the universe, holding warrants for smuggling and tax evasion. Apparently, faulty rates, more favorable to the trader than the market warranted, were being given to merchants to promote business... while taking the cost difference from Federal taxes. High officials throughout the merchant guilds, as well as key players at all of the criminal locations, were arrested and placed in stasis tanks early this morning. Officials state many were taken by complete surprise and that resistance was minimal. The effects of this raid, despite its impressive number of arrests, are yet to be seen, yet hopefully the strike did as intended.

Crime experts say it has something to do with the rise of Narcotics use by WQ Human Teenagers. In the past week and a half alone there have been over 9 people killed in sector 1534, For your own saftey, We at the Post strongly suggest that you steer clear of sector 1534 and the surrounding area whenever possible.
