Galactic Post Announces New Management
The Galactic Post, which has served as the galaxy's number one news source for over two and a half years, announced its new management Tuesday morning. The previous editor-in-chief, who served an honorable and brilliant term in the previous round, regrettably was unable to find the time to maintain the chronicle during this new session.

"The Galactic Post is committed to excellence in journalism." remarked the company's chief executive. "It was a shame to see (RCK) go, but I'm confident in our new editor-in-chief."

The Galactic Post staff was admitted a period of leave in the latter part of the last session, and will be resuming their work later this week. Upon returning to the office, the chief editor stated that she is currently hiring staff writers from all varieties of races and experience levels in order to ensure a well rounded journal, and that she looks forward to the future release of several outstanding issues with the help of a diverse staff.

Early Actions
Galactic officials are worried about the path events are taking Universally. Raiders from Army of Cuda, System Failure, Crusaders, and more have been seen ravaging ports all over known space. Civilians have cowered in terror as mighty warships have blown traders to dust. There has even been a full scale battle fought between the aggressive Army of Cuda and the Crusaders, resulting in a kill-hungry AoC taking several Crusader planets in succession. These actions sparked the game's first fleet fight, which resulted in an extensive belt of rubble from the decimated ships.

Planetary officials are in a panic in light of the early strikes, and other similar events. The Crusaders have been spotted patrolling various non-racial galaxies looking for easy kills. Before its third week of completion, Beerfest is already shaping out to be an action-packed melee unprecedented in these galaxies.

Beerfest: Early Diplomatic Revolution
Beerfest began with a surge of treaties that ended just as quickly as it had started. Emerging from the diplomatic councils was a rather precarious triad of peace which included the Thevians, Humans, and the inhabitants of the West Quadrant. The WQ Humans and the Thevians have historically prospered together, but have had little to do with the Human race since the West Quadrant rebellion.

A member of the Thevian council speculated that the recent movement is a "peculiar political statement."

The West Quadrant council popularly decided that Human unity was quite an essential economic move for both races, and the idea was welcomed by the Human president, who hopes that the establishment of a trade-relationship with the West Quadrant will open the doors to further diplomacy.

"I believe establishing peace between so-called past enemies is a vital part in surviving this vast, evil place we call home." remarked Ace.

There ahead lays much time for other racial bonds to be forged and broken. But for the time being, peace vibrates on the heartstrings of this triad.
