ok this is the text based description of my map idea

Racials Gals
All Fed HQ have 2 fed spaces ( hq being one )
Warps take you to a mini gal called gateway. 12 ports per racial gal only stocking lvl 1-2 teir goods.
Each racial gal will be 6x6 sectors big
1 bank
1 uno
1 special accessory shop ( DS, illusion etc depending on racial gal )
1 bar
only one warp into gateway gal.from there you branch out.


Gateway gal
4x4 secors
this will containg warps to all 8 gals
4 warps into neutral
2 bars
and 1 warp into a bank area ( no banks in neutral )


Neutral Gal
15x15 with only access coming from gateway gal or planet gals
30 ports in neutral gals only 8 will be teir 3 ( one for each race ) the rest one or two tier.
4 banks
no bars
6 unos.
all ship shops
lvl 1-4 weps randomly placed
UG randomly placed


Planet Gals
there will be 4 planet gals.
5x5 sectors
only access through 1 warp in neutral gal and 1 linked to another planet gal
only containing 4 planets per gal
8 ports per planet gal ( one for each race ) no higher than teir 2.

lvl 5 wep gal
5x5 sectors
all 3 lvl 5 wep stores
1 ca
all at the end of a maze ( like a looping tunnel lined with bars )


PORTS
so u will notice most ports will only be teir 1 or 2 with very few teir 3's, this is to try and encourage alliances to work to build routes that work for all races ( within there alliance )

due to this
i would put this as a 5 month game and speed 1.5, 600 turns, but a start out cash as 750,000

I like the concept but I'm too lazy to draw it out to see it properly, I have few concerns though. Firstly the Ca and weps will be in a single place with one road in and out what's stopping someone mining it up outside the warp? And secondly 750k starting money puts an alliance of 6 with 4.5mil right away which by my calculations equates to 1 trip maker (235), or 2 favoured offspring (250), or 3 leviathons (255), or 5 drudges (260), with the 6th being in one very shortly, and finally all humans now start in a renaissance (190).
In order to stab someone in the back, you first must be 100% behind them!

I'd prefer it to be 2 or maybe 2.5x speed and 800-1000 turns and only 100k start up cash and leave force ports to be upgraded having no tier 3 goods at all at start.
In order to stab someone in the back, you first must be 100% behind them!

the route incide tghe mini gal that has the lvl5 weps and CA would have bars leading to it meaning u couldnt mine inside, + a bar on the other side of the warp, meaning no one can mine the warp in
