Is the server down?

I get this message when I try to go to smrealms.de

It's been down since 4:30am server time, 10:30 pm est.

Negatory Jester. Actually Last night about 2 pm MST the server went back up for a small bit. Again at maybe 1 pm MST it was up for 2-5 mins.

That doesn't mean it was up. The server might be trying to reset itself or have some kind of script to get it back online. That does not mean the server is functional. So how does that mean I was incorrect?

I wonder what is going to happen when the actual hardware fails. Will Spock pay the money to buy a new server or is SMR just gonna die like the SM of old and new?

when it first went down, i was in #smr and said "Uh, is it taking 50 seconds for anyone else to load a page?" and OR responded yes...and i havent played since...and no one wants SMR back as much as me...i'm one outside of fed...scared as all hell too.... and JJ scared me because when it went down I said something along the lines of "And let me guess, we need a coder to fix it, and we scared curu away" and he said i won a prize...i really hope it can come back soon...

And SMR had better not die like SM. I'm not a top player in SMR yet. At least I was a top player in SM.
