"Crystal Moon"? nope, never heard of such alliance. You perhaps mean "Yellow Moon", Amazonia and Khan Meetin's alliance.

I played in many alliances (KAOS during the last few years) but the only alliances I ever "lead" were the "bunny alliances" during short games, where everybody will adopt a bunny character (fat bunny, assassin bunny, etc.) and the alliance would be named accordingly with the most ridiculous name we could come with: Paranoid Bunnies, Insane Bunny Posse, Bunny Guerrilla Family, Guns & Carrots, etc.

Back then, there was a lot of roleplaying going on

Speef and many of HoA I have seen a few years ago playing Dark Age of Camelot on the Mordred server...Haven't heard from them lately though. I am also from that era

Yeah. Seriously. Cory left and Shareplay died for a bit. Marta took the reigns for a time and then Shareplay got worse and worse. Finally they shut it down. I miss my old HoA comrades. Probably not enough to devote the time to this game, but still, good times.

The last time I heard from Speef was last year on Myspace. He was still working at Maxis on their Sims games.
