New type of game = only racials

New game theme, only racials can be used, and 1 nuetral or other ship of your choosing.. possibly a vote.. this would make it interesting to see what happens. what do you think?

I think he is thinking of a race wars game. Ive heard of these but havent seen or played in one. Wouldnt mind trying it out once just for the hell of it anyway.

I get it. Bad idea.

The ships have been balanced so that in a normal game races that aren't good traders can still get some trading done. Without the neutrals, those races are useles. We'd have to rebalance the entire ship list and the current ship list is probably the reason for this idea in the first place.

I think it sounds interesting. It would definitely force people to think about what they want their role to be before picking a race. It may also encourage racial balance among alliances. But if you're worried about poor trading options for some races then that can be the 1 neutral ship available.
