Newbie alliances

why in god sakes are theyre so many new Alliances based on the race and not based on Alliances?

New players are automatically placed into these alliances so that the leaders can show them the ropes.

Compared to having them join password: maps, suicide to a port three times, and quit, this is an improvement.

Still think what alliance they got in should have been based on what time they joined and have a leader that could be on around there, instead of by race.
