Wrong Azool, opening games are always Very laggy.

The trouble is that 8- people at this stage of the game would be opping and doing stuff all at the same time, whereas the start of the game they are just exploring and trading, seems to me like the attack code takes a MUCH bigger hit on teh server than anything else.

the attack code should.. there's 4-5 simultaneous codes per each person running (give or take whatever, those are just arbitrary numbers).. You have the actual attack, then you have a script to make sure it isn't a double death, then another script to take exp away, script to blah blah blah...
I hope SMR2 takes the lag out of it.. Having 60 people actively running around (just moving about) makes the game have a touch of lag...
