The newest update top MGU is attached to this message. Changes that have been made:

- Trade goods have been switched so that buys are on top now
- I added a good finder: in the location finder you can now also select goods and search for ports that either buy or sell those goods
- Added a "Go to sector" function in the main screen that allows you to go directly to the galaxy that holds the indicated sector. I still need to tackle centering the galaxy layout on the intended sector as I have to do with warp clicking. This will be in the next update.

New update available, see attached file.

Changes:

- Find Locations bug was fixed
- enabling/disabling of trade calculator button was fixed
- Parsing of sector number in the location finder was improved

i downloaded this and used it but keep getting errors..

when finding routes, if i just open it up. and click find routes with defualt settings it works. if i try changing the shipt to Trade-Master i get an error:

Course plotter in MGU counts the number of sectors as number of turns, so it gives +1 turns on every plot than its needed.

The bug seem to be the ships, the only ships that throws this error are
Tiny Delight
Trade-Master
Trip-Maker
Unarmed Scout
Small Escort

All other ships works fine. Since Edgecrusher didn't post the source code there is no way anyone can look into this. Has anyone seen Edgecrusher online lately.

Edit: Also get the error on the Ambassador haven't check every ship yet.

if i try and generate routes for any ship other than PSF IST NVM or ambassador i get 0 XP 0 cash. Also when searching routes in neutrals sometimes it will find routes then if you search again there will be no routes. Then i check maps and find routes MGU doesnt list and the routes are better than what MGU finds.(yes i tested the routes) Nothing beats good ol human interaction.

Since I don't play at the moment, attention has been a bit less, but I will look into this. And once again: I did post the code with the first post in this thread. Will post an updated version of the code with this fix.

Attached is an updated version of MGU 1.6. The bug with the ships is fixed: it was caused by the fact that all ships were added to the list twice. The 0 xp and cash bug should also be fixed and the xp and cash calues now actually match the selected ship (they didn't before).

As to routes: unless you give me the exact route that you cannot find with MGU, I cannot reproduce it.

For those code munchers out there, I included every file, including the MSVC project file. There may be some redundant ones from Vladdy's old version. Normal users only need to bother with the executable and can throw out the rest.

New version including:

- Addition of the option to use Jump Drive in searching routes.
- Bug fix: warps were not saved when saving maps. They are now.
- Application crashed when closing a map: fixed
