Newbie FAQ

True, but since we barely have a Newbie FAQ in existance as we speak(though I could be wrong and Nariis bless her heart has worked a LOT on it) we might as well get it out here. Been thinking---if we put EVERY tiny bit of stuff in that FAQ, do you ever think it will be done completely?

I believe that once the FAQ reaches a certain level it should be posted. Then it can be updated now and then when new info becomes available or when people decide that something else should be there.

Blum....seems you have just as much time as I do sitting in front of the comp...my excuse is work, can't leave(although I would love to in a heart beat)...what's yours?

No Skar, I am just trying to keep my sanity here, as several times my sig. at the bottom is severly tested at this hell-hole. (For instance I had to tell a lady 5 different ways to pull a power plug, how stupid is stupid? She made Forrest Gump look like Albert Einstein). Seems Blum is keeping pace with me, so I figured what the heck:) And Blum--love your sig.

Also, can't get into chat anymore till we find a way around it..they (demons at work who let us have NO fun) have blocked the port it uses, and this applet won't let you get into it to try to change the port like the other one did. If it does, plz tell me:)

I wonder, when will "going postal" become "going helpdesk"?

joys of Win2k prof, can't dl anything without them knowing, will get fired if anything is on these computers other than what they prescribe. Tried to set the proxy on IE as well, didn't kick in and won't work. Used to be we could have anything(mIRC included) but not anymore:(
