No you don't have to trade all your cargo

Just remember that trading only a portion of your cargo is slower than trading the full load. Thus you might delay detection, but if they do find you, the risk of death is higher.

Trading like this is mainly important, if you're trading a top port. But you need to ask yourself the question: if you're only trading at 75% effectivity ona top port, then you could take a less unique route and be safer with the same XP/cash gain...

Actually, trading some of your cargo isn't any slower if you fill some of your holds with goods you are simply going to hold and not trade (15 wood in your IST for example, allowing you to trade 285 holds with no delays)

where do hunters look if they track traders? don't they look at traded goods too on stats page? 285 holds isn't gonna make them think you are trading in PSF i think, but that's just my opinion regarding this tactic.

but it still costs you an extra turn to sell teh extra good for a portion of what you would have with a single full load of 300, there by making it longer just as Shesmu said :P

My understanding was that Shesmu was talking about the extra time to select some of your cargo holds each trade, my way you just take the extra holds out of commision for the entire trading session.
