And remember, federal ships will take half the damage from standing forces as other ships, so if you have a lot of mines to clear but not much cash, buy some FDs

Not even for cheap people, the FD is better than almost any other ship at force clearing. Its super fast, which makes it better for clearing in some circumstances than FU and FW
