Thief or No Thief?

The biggest thing is wether your trading for cash, exp or possibly relations. Game style also has a big effect. If you're the type of player who likes logging in 4 times or less a week and finish the build up rounds and then letting the rounds clock up some more again then the PSF is you're dream ship. But if you like playing more constantly you should go with the thieve. However the SPF is by far the best ship in the long run.

But if you want a good combination of the two I would suggest the
Leviathan, espicialy for newbs, because
speed is okay (10.5)
Can take a bit of beating(not much but enough to make a run for it)
Its realy cheap at just over a mill (1,122,251)
If you want to it can take 100 mines
Can take a couple of scouting drones (25)
Cargo holds are average (240)
This is a nice combination and falls neatly in the middle between the thief and PSF. Biggest downside : no Comdat drones.
I would choose this anyime rather than a thieve but PSF beats it hands down...
