ill say this for now: odds of 1 person hitting a pocket pair: 5.9%
odds of a pocket pair hitting a set: 10.8% (this is 10.8% IF you have a pocket pair that happens ONLY 5.9% of the time...)
... Thats for 1 person, the odds that 3 people will do it, and do it all on the flop...

My numbers are right because we're assuming that they already have PPs.
If he's asking what are the odds that 3 people get pocket pairs and hit a set, then it's different.
PS XDX: Trips are where there are a pair on the flop and you have one card. A set is when you have a PP.
IE. If you have 9-9, and the board is 2-9-5, you have top set. If you have A-9 and the flop is K-9-9, you have trips, so technically it's impossible for 3 people to hit trips on the flop.

my bad...but i read that chances of a person hitting a set on the flop is like 11.8% with any pocket pair..but 3 people hitting a set on the flop that is just insane it must be less then .05%

3/25 is actually only an approximation of the odds of hitting a set, the real probability is in fact 1-((48*47*46)/(50*49*48 )). This is 1-the probability of not hitting the set and is slightly less than 3/25 (11.8% is right XdX).
The odds of this entire situation (even assuming anyone with a pp will definitely stay in) is harder to calculate, but not impossible - maybe if I'm bored tomorrow........
