port upgrades

ADMIN please amswer, because no one else can agree. Are port upgrades based on money spent, or exp earned, And about how much is needed?

It is exp based, and that info has NOT been made public. In fact I don't know anyone who is even really researching it to try and figure it out.

The reason some ppl say that cash causes upgrades is that this was the way it was earlier. Now it's caused by XP.

My personal experience shows quite a steep curve on the upgrades. Going from 3-5 is relatively easy on a 4x for instance for one or two traders, but getting above lv. 7 requires real work...
