Protection

hmmm...maybe im missing summin ...but if im under federal protection...how comes i still got killed while i was logged off....anybody know why ? or what i did wrong ?

2 questions. What was your attack rating? IF your attack rating is too high, you don't qualify for fed protection. The base amount is 3, for every 150 alignment above or below zero, the amount goes up or down by one. For example at 150 you could have a 4 attack rating, at -150 you could only have 2, etc. Also, were you carrying any illegal goods on board? Illegal goods are narcotics, weapons, and slaves. Carrying them on board automatically nullifies federal protection. A good habit to get into is to check the trader screen before you log off. On the top left it will tell you if you are under protection or not.
