Attacking

When you destroy another ship do you recieve anything besides the possible bounty the person might have. Like cargo or the cash they had?

You get all the cash they had on their ship.

cool. Thanks for the help i had looked everywhere and couldn't find out why you would want to attack. That seems like a good reward to me thanks.

you also get a little bit of experience.

and it affects your alignment, helps hunters go more evil or good aligned. -300 your Name turns red, at 300 your name turns green

You also want to attack for the fame and glory it brings. You won't get as much exp hunting as the good traders get from their work but IMO exp is just a tool for better accuracy...
