Shields and Armor

I thought I'd put this in another post, make it easier for other newbies reference

It seems to me that it should work this way but, do shields have to be penetrated before armor will take damage?

yes....and if u have combat drones, those need to be destroyed first also to get to the armor

Oh, I was wondering about Combat Drones but, I thought I'd save it for a bit

So, do Combat Drones affect Defense level then?

Yes, Combat Drones increase your defensive rating (and offensive for that matter)

The order of destruction is shields, then drones, then armour.

I believe the addition due to comabt drones is drones/50 attack rating, not sure what it adds to defense, I think each drone should take 3 hit, but not sure if they are at the moment.
