Planets

Erm... I was just wondering if anyone has actually found planets yet. Usually, they're in the non-aligned galaxies, and you couldn't go 4 sectors without tripping over one or 2...
But I've looked through as many of the sectors in the non-aligned galaxies as my turns have allowed and... well... I haven't seen one.

I've seen plenty of planets in my scouting trips. They are all in the larger galaxies.

not all neutral galaxies have planets....only 3 if I remember correctly

can you get a planet under newbie protection?
(if yes, whats "Uninhabitable" for and when becomes it inhabitable?)

The planets in the game will become inhabitable after a random amount of time, I believe this runs from somewhere in the region of from 10 hours to 6 days (approximately).

I can't quite remember if you can claim a planet under newbies, I have an inkling that maybe you can't, or possibly can't change its name or something.
