I'd say almost a quarter of those in the top 3 alliances are inactive, too.

I took a calculated risk. Unfortunately, I am bad at math.

2 planet bust ops, 2-4 force clearing ops and 2-3 port raid ops from each alliance. This round is actually pretty active but the distance -> enemy galaxy is kind of far for a daily encounter. it's about 100 turns round trip to any enemy territory without arming up.

Yes the distance between planet gals is too far, I would agree with that.

If it took say 30 turns to get to enemy territory and 30 back that would seem a compromise I would be happy with. Other than that I do like this setup.

I also like it, this round has been the most fun in quite awhile.

This last round the two planet galaxies were very close. This proved to be an issue, has it not? Maybe the tuning should take alliance sizes into account as well. Bigger alliances means the distance should be longer, otherwise you can bust 3 planets in one OP.....
