SMR2 - Alliance Page

Would be nice to have something to display to the rest of the players outside the alliance besides a roster and a motto. Something like the internal alliance MOD page is what I have in mind, but is the page you see first when you click on an alliance name instead of the roster.

Would include things like:

Alliance Name
Alliance Motto
Alliance Pic
Leaders and co-leaders names
Text area for free descriptions and messages.

All would be edited and controlled by the leader.

Pictures would have to be pre-approved by admins (kind of like the photo album). Too much room for abuse otherwise.

ya but we have children they do stupid things and put up things that they shouldnt

Agreed and when you're talking about the photo album where the entire player base can submit photos and make stupid comments, yeah it needs some controls. This is the alliance leaders who are fewer in number and *usually* more responsible.

If the admins want another thing to patrol, that is your call as admins.

Well the only way I personally would consider having it so alliance leaders can display an image without approval on the page would to be that consequences of violating the rules in that area would be an automatic and minimum ban of 2 weeks for thee entire alliance.

And if it is a lone player who made an alliance in a fit and wants to cause a problem, it would be a permaban.

ya and we can still make it so admins have the ability to change it at first sign of a problem

Yeah, wasn't suggesting taking away what we got, only adding a "public" information page.
