When you are in sector with another ship, having the ability to click the ship name, with a dialog box pop, and show the ship stats would be nice!

the way I read this it seems like it would be something to easily get you killed with a misclick

Basically the idea would be a tool tip kind of thing that displays ship stats. aka, examine screen

It would have to be a tool tip, otherwise the examine screen is useless (I think there should be a direct fire button anyway, but I think we were discussing that...)
