A search feature within galaxy map.
This search feature will be able to list all ports in a gal of one race, with detail view of level and goods in a nice list.
This might be nice for people without mgu (aka mac users)
-not sure if this is hard to code, just a suggestion
Galaxy map
Re: Galaxy map
For the time being mac users can use TheLazyTrader although I agree this would be a nice addition, doing a semi-decent interface for it would be the more challenging thing..
Re: Galaxy map
oh ok i wasnt aware that mac users could use the lazy trader! very nice!

Re: Galaxy map
Require discussion,
Yes this feature is available with MGU/LT... but for newer players might not be a bad idea.

Re: Galaxy map
I don't see this change as necessary. I'd rather just make the port races easier to see within the galaxy map sectors instead of having to hover over the buy/sell tags. What ever happened to making your own routes by hand and exploring?

Re: Galaxy map
It would actually encourage that as you could see the different port/goods.

Re: Galaxy map
TBH I would normally reject this idea.

Re: Galaxy map
what about just a feature where you can search a sector number! not goods and everything. (that idea was before it was coded in game)
Re: Galaxy map
Eh, I still think the G-map is fine, although I still vote for larger port ownership names.
Re: Galaxy map
You can search by sector using the url (you can click a sector then edit the number in the bar), anyway since it's that easy someone could add it by putting an input type="number" and having it submit a get to the current page (to add the correct sector id), sounds perfect for RCK ;)
