So i was just browsing around today.. and was thinking...
maybe there should be some kind of cap on bounties....
Think this has been though about before but...
consider this:
The Underground is offering a bounty on 007 worth 20634130 credits.
Sure orca is hard to kill, but is a payment of 200mil a lil much?
That means an alliance could buy we'll say 15 birds for killing on guy.
But anyway, wasnt realy my original though.
What i was thinking it would be nice say under trader stats what bounties you can claim.
Just a thought, i know its not alot of work to check actual player stats, but in a fleet fight it would be nice if u killed 2 or 3 ppl.

it always comes down to good vs. evil. why putting a neutral in?
i don't think the concept of tieing the bounty to alignment isn't that bad. i mean the good guys would put a bounty on the bad guys (ofc not kill him instead to bring him to justice )
maybe we should rethink the formula, but personally i would leave it like that.
which side would put the bounty on a level 10 guy and which side on the lvl 50 guy?

Requires some discussion on the possibility of "Neutral" bounties.

Neutrals should accrue bounties just like anyone else, and in fact, should be able to accrue bounties at both the HQ and UG depending on who they kill/what they attack.

Yah, could have a racial bounty as well. Which would basically mean: not really sure what
HQ --> Bounty on evil players
UG --> Bounty on good players
Neutral --> Bounty on neither good nor evil players
Racial --> Bounty by race (technically this is "Military Payment" atm), but could include things like PRs etc. to raise it
Player --> Bounty set by players
HQ --> Bounty on evil players
UG --> Bounty on good players
Neutral --> Bounty on neither good nor evil players

Im confused a bit on this what you mean neutral? players who remain neutral can collect both sides fed and UG. Are you talking about bounties that can be claimed by both people and where does it come from if so.
If people placed bounties in the game themselves I would say it should be able to be claimed by either side. If it grows automatically like bounties do currently then I think they need to remain they are. (as much as Id like to claim a 60 mil bounty of SIlent Death Ive been stuck 120 points above neutral and cant get it to go down)
